Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Tater, Tater, MashPotater!  Yep, my name is Tater and I'm a very sweet 7.5 year old boxer boy looking for a new casa!  I'm crate trained, house broken, well behaved and extremely affectionate.  

I have lived in a home with other dogs and I enjoy their company.  I'm a 'chill' kind of guy who loves to snuggle and cuddle but I know my boundaries so I won't make myself comfortable on the furniture unless I'm told it's okay.  I walk well on a leash and I know basic commands.  I guess you could describe me as the perfect gentleman!

I'm really looking forward to finding my new forever home complete with my own family!  How would you like a little Tater Tot in your life?!
