Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

One day, not so long ago, I was roaming around the streets, just trying to remember how to get back home. I felt so low; I was hungry, tired and just plain depressed. How did my family just lose me? Then all of a sudden this beautiful person appeared and swept me up! Am I in a dream? My Good Samaritan calls me Sadie Girl now, and I love my new name. I'm somewhere between two and three years old, and someone brought me up right, because I am house and crate trained, very obedient, and very sweet. I just love every dog I've met, and I even find cats kind of interesting. I think playing fetch is like the most fun ever; second to that, it's being curled up in a comfy chair or couch! I tried to look very pretty for my pictures, because I'm very excited about the prospect of finding a new home. I hope someone thinks I'm pretty and smart and sweet enough to make me part of their family!
