Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi my name is Sweetie and I am starting to get comfortable at my foster family's house!  I was very scared when I first came to live with them, but I am very glad that there are kids here! I LOVE kids, all shapes and sizes of them!  I am very gentle with the kids, epecially the small ones!  I get along with my foster family's dog, though I am not really sure how to play with him yet.  Oh and did I mention I love treats?  Well I do!  I will even sit or lay to get one!  Sometimes if my foster mom leaves the pantry door open I will go in there and see if she left the treat bag open on the floor where I can get one myself, she says I am a silly girl!  I am crate and housetrained!!  I would love to be the new furry member of your family!
