Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hello Houston.....My name is Ophelia and I’m just a baby...less than a year old and a very sweet girl.  I‘m what you’d call a pocket boxer.....very petite!  I just landed in a great foster home with a lot of other pups and I love it!  I get along well with everyone in the house though I have my favorites!  My foster dad reports that I’m house broken and house broken.  In fact, I consider my crate to be ‘my safe place’......I go there when I need some alone time!

My foster dad reports that I’m a great pup.....very sweet and very gentle!  I know there is an equally great home out there just waiting for me.
