Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Learn more about the Boxer.

I'm Daisy Duke, and last fall I was out on the streets. I had just had a litter of puppies, and I had nowhere to go. A nice family found me around Thanksgiving and brought me to their home. They took such good care of me, but I can't stay there, so they have asked LSBR to find me a good home. I'm around two years old, and I am a sweet-natured and beautiful girl. I play well with kids and other dogs, and I'm house trained, good on a leash and a great car passenger. But what I love most are hugs and kisses. When you've been homeless like I was, you miss being loved and petted. I'm easy to please - all I want is a home to call my own and a family to love.
